Email Alerts
The DSM system will send email alerts with different activities or notices. DSM has five email notification categories:
  1. MVR Activity: Email alert is sent each time there is a change to the driver’s records status or when a new violation is reported. This is also sent when a MVR is pulled for a new driver and the driver has a violation on his/her record.
  2. MVR Service: Email alert is sent every time a driving record is pulled, and the record is available for review
  3. Driver License Expiration: Email alert is sent in advance of the driver license expiration. The email alert frequency can be customized for the Day of Expiration, 30 days, 60 days or 90 days before the license expiration.
  4. Medical Certificate Expiration: Email alert is sent in advance of the medical certificate expiration. The email alert frequency can be customized for the Day of Expiration, 30 days, 60 days or 90 days before the certificate expiration.
  5. Insurance Expiration: Email alert is sent in advance of the driver’s auto insurance expiration (input required). The email alert frequency can be customized for the Day of Expiration, 30 days, 60 days or 90 days before the insurance expiration.
Each email alert will include the name of the department (location/group), driver’s name and last 4 numbers of the driver’s license. Email alerts samples below:

System Notifications

In addition to Email Alerts, DSM will also allow you to view Email Notifications within the system. Click on the Notification icon (upper right corner - next to Logout), then click on View All
  • You can mark notifications as Read
  • Filter by the notification Type (MVR Activity, MVR Service, Driver License Expiration, etc.)
  • Review notification marked as Read or Unread
  • Search by employee’s name or last 4 numbers of driver’s license
